PREPAGO FAQ


Prepago Inteligente is a prepaid energy system similar to phone prepaid services, but credit is bought in advance. 


With Pagatinu, when you top up your credit, you get a credit slip with numbers that need to be filled into a home device to get electricity. With Prepago Inteligente once you top up at Pagafasil you have electricity immediately. 




Prepago Inteligente works similar to Pagatinu: You pay for the services in advance. As you use electricity, the amount is deducted from your credit. 


No. It is not more expensive. However, the rates of Prepago Inteligente are based on daily rates which vary on an hourly basis.  

You can top up at all Pagafasil points of sale.

How can I check my balance?

There are two ways to check your balance:

  1. Online Customer Portal:
    Go to
    prepago.aqualectra.com
    and log in using your username (your 10-digit subscription number) and a
    password you create yourself.
    Password rules: minimum 8 characters, including at least
    1 lowercase letter,
    1 uppercase letter,
    and 1 number or special symbol.
  2. SMS:
    Send a free text message to +5999 6858910 using the word
    BALANCE.
    You will receive your top up and balance.

 


You go to prepago.aqualectra.com and log in by entering your username (subscription 10-digit number) and your password that you create yourself. There needs to be a minimal of 8 digits, of which a minimum of 1 small letter, 1 capital letter, 1one special symbol or number. 

What happens when the balance gets too low? 

When your balance gets too low, you get a notification.  By default, the minimum is set at Cg. 5.00, but you can reset this yourself in the portal.
